Well, my mother called me at 7:37am to tell me that she was leaving the house and that the contractors guys were here and that they would probley be making a lot of noise. I was not very happy about this because I am not a morning person, but I got up anyway. When I came downstairs, Nick and least I think that is what his name is, the contractors son was moving the washer, dryer and the refigerator out of the laundry room. When I went to look at what was behind them, especially the dryer to see if any missing socks were behind it, I was shocked to see how dirty it was.
I mean it is really kind of gross. I don't even remember the last time that they were moved. I guess it was years and years ago when we first got the dryer. But even if we had tried to clean behind them we wouldn't be able too. So after I saw this, I knew that I needed some coffee, so I made some. Then I heard a lot of banging and I wanted to see what they were doing so I went outside and they were ripping off the back of out house. I wanted to take a picture, but I didn't want to go into the snow and they all have trucks here so I walked up to the back out our driveway to take a picture.
I know it is not the best picture to be able to see, but you get the point. As I walked back down the driveway, I took a picture of the back door area, which was now off the hinge.
It is very cold in our house now, and I guess that explains why. This might also be a contributing factor...
There is a board across the door from the kitchen to the laundry room. Maybe the will put up insolation to keep it kind of warm. But that is all they have done so far...
